New Way To Get Paid To Write Articles About Your Hobby Or Passion

August 27th, 2009 by Victor Jones-Ashbry

A lot of people find writing a difficult task. But, there are thousands and thousands of writers that are amateur writers that do it for their own joy. It’s their passion, their hobby. It is usually in a category they have a love for since they were young. A lot never think they could get paid to write.

Our opinion of what a good writer is often the biggest hurdle for amateur writers in taking their writing to a wider audience. We think a good writer is someone like Stephen King. That is just incorrect as there are many great writers that the general public have never heard of.

Good content is actually about love and passion for the topic. Many thousands of others on a global scale will have a passion similar to yours even if it is a weird but cool topic that people are passionate about. Most of us have an interest in mainstream culture too such as politics and music.

Writing doesn’t have to be an international task either. Writers can be as passionate about small local issues as much as large international issues. Who else knows more about local interest issues than local amateur writer? Local issue writing can be just as rewarding for writers too.

Without experience or contacts in the world of newspapers, journals and websites getting a paid job to do what you want to do, write about your passion, is almost an impossible task.

Until recent times, that was it. You could not get people to see your writings. Now you can. And you get paid to write. What is even better is you get paid to write, and in the area of interest to you.

The websites take your writing whether as articles or blog posts and publish them on their sites and then the share any of the revenue that they get from people clicking on the ads on the website. The big advantage these sites have over a writer who posts their content on their own blogs is the number of people your content goes on. The numbers these sites get every day is huge.

The most generous site that has a writer-site revenue sharing model is a site called InnerBuzz. It has a 50/50 sharing model that means that writers receive half of all revenues generated from advertisers when readers click on the links in your posts or articles. This 50/50 split is by far the most generous on the net for this type of model.
