Article Marketing is one of the best way to generate content for your squeeze pages, blogs, website or even sales letters. You have to put in hard work to write articles every to have sufficient articles so as to have enough content to get good consistent traffic. Your aim is to have your articles scattered all over the web, and you will enjoy more opportunities to get traffic to your websites or blogs.

Article marketing is one of the greatest ways to get traffic on the internet and it is one of the few ways to get free traffic. Another reason you should be using article marketing strategies to market your website is that it will provide lasting traffic for a long time to come.

Article marketing and writing articles is also a great way for you to establish yourself as an expert or an authority in your field or niche.

Here are some points you can take note while you write your articles.

Article Marketing Guidelines:

1. When you write your article, keep it within a comfortable length. As a rule, the length of an article should be withing the range of 400-800 words long.

2. Each articles should be written around a specified keyword or keyword phrase.

3. The keyword phrase should be used in the headline, the first and last paragraph and then just normally throughout the article as it makes sense.

4. As a rule, limit the keyword density to 2% of your text.

There are plenty of free tools available online that will tell you your keyword density within your article. If you find your density is too low, add keywords where you can without making the article sound weird. You can also edit out some of the text which will raise the keyword density.

Should your keyword density be too high, remove some of the keywords, or write more text within the article. Also, you can using alternate keyword to replace.

5. Submit your articles to article directories such as EzineArticles.com

6. Post your articles on your blog or site.

7. Remember to include your link of your website or blog in the text of the article or in the resource box if available.
