If you have your articles published in many different sites, you will receive traffic from more avenues.
Article marketing is one of the greatest ways to get traffic on the internet and it is one of the few ways to get free traffic. Another reason you should be using article marketing strategies to market your website is that it will provide lasting traffic for a long time to come.
Writing articles for your article marketing campaign is also a great way to establish yourself as an expert in your particular niche or industry and make yourself look like the authority.
There are a few things to consider when writing your articles.
Article Marketing Guidelines:
1. When you write your article, keep it within a comfortable length. As a rule, the length of an article should be withing the range of 400-800 words long.
2. Try to write your article around one specific keyword or phase.
3. Limit the use of the keyword phase to the headlines, first and last paragraph, and causally within the text when needed.
4. You should try to target a keyword density of 2%.
You can make use of some tools online that is made available for free to check your keyword density. If it is too low, add in more of the keyword appropriately. You can also reduce your text to increase your keyword density.
If your articles keyword density is too high, then you will need to remove some of your keywords, write more text, or find different ways to say the same thing such as using the keyword “internet marketing” instead of “affiliate marketing”.
5. Submit your written articles to articles directories around.
6. Post your articles on your blog or site.
7. You should always include a link back to your site or product within the signature or resource box at article marketing directories.
