Value Of Peace Symbol In Chinese Society

November 29th, 2009 by Lucy Xiu

China has a unique system of writing which is totally unfamiliar to us. They use characters rather than letters and these character symbols formulate concepts instead of words with phonetic value. There are about 47,035 characters in Chinese language in Chinese dictionary known as Kangxi dictionary. Though the character symbol which is called Hans is so large in number, they are mostly not used any more.

Amongst the several popular symbols is the Chinese peace symbol. Peace is something that everyone is in search for. The meaning of peace as represented by the Chinese character does not necessarily mean the absence of war. Rather peace is a feeling of contentment in the heart which is one of the most valuable things in life.

The best thing the Chinese symbols offers to human race is the symbolization of peace. We all have our personal ways of acquiring peace. Some people will do something as absurd as bungee jumping if it gives peace where as some will repent in front of God to achieve it. Chinese people also have their own way of achieving peace.

The peace symbol in China has great value and you will see extensive use of this symbol in all walks of life in China. The Chinese have a strong belief that these symbols are a means of attracting the good thing in life. Peace is one thing which the whole human race is searching for all the time.

So what is the Chinese concept behind the peace symbol? Well, according to them if you surround yourself with peace symbols you will ultimately achieve peace in your self. At least this is how they have made use of the peace symbols throughout the history of the nation.

In fact the peace symbol is not the sole character that has been used to attract good things in the lives of the people. Good fortune and blessing symbols of different kinds can be found in people’s homes, shops, cars and offices.

Today the Chinese peace symbol is amongst the most popular characters used not only in China but also around the world. The west is mainly infatuated with Chinese symbols and peace being a universally appealing idea is right on top of the list.

The idea of peace is regarded as cool by the young people in the west in recent times. The shape of the symbols has a special attraction to the westerners as they appear to have style and philosophical meaning. The shops in the west are selling the fashion garments and accessories with Chinese peace symbol in bulk to the people.

But it is to be remembered that the Chinese possess their own perception of peace as compared to the west from these symbols and this conviction is what they have been following since ancient times.

Chinese peace symbolism may be a great option for a tattoo. If you would like to see more Chinese kanji symbols please follow the links.

Learn The Art Of Good Copy Writing and Explode Your Internet Business.

November 28th, 2009 by Kevin Thomas

A great variety of factors are weaved into the success or failure of a internet business. You could even make a credible case that there are a significantly higher number of factors that need to be weighed for an online business as opposed to a traditional brick and mortar one. Yes, the online environment is one that is exceedingly different and that means a different approach will be required. You need to stay above all the trends, boost search engine rankings, and then convert all those visitors into paying customers. Mastering these factors will all play a huge role in your potential success. That is why mastering them is so important. However, if there was one key to success many overlook when it comes to an online business, it would be the ability to be good at copy writing.

Copy writing is a term that is thrown around a bit too loosely and it’s important to understand what it really means. Copy writing is not just any website content you have. On the contrary, copy writing is geared specifically to be promotional. The purpose of copy writing is to get somebody to make a purchase or take another desired action. High quality copy writing will draw people in, get their attention and keep them engaged, leading them the whole way towards taking a specific action that the author or business owner intended.

Content along the lines of reviews, testimonials or product and service details are designed to be informative, helpful secondary information that people seek out of interest. On its own, it is not intended to sell anything directly. At best, it is designed to make a minor soft-sell through presenting people more confidence in what the business may be offering. It can also achieve this by merely informing them so that they will be able to make an accurate judgment based on their interest.

It is the copy writing however that is really making that push for a sale. It does more than just inform people or softly hint at taking an action, it tells people exactly what to do, how to do it and it gives them a reason or many reasons why they should do it. Additionally, it encourages immediate action so that you convert as many people as possible without ever losing them to complacency, forgetfulness or competition from other businesses.

So many business owners take a hands-off approach and assume that people will figure everything out, and that the sales that will be made will be made regardless of what information or content they present. Unfortunately that’s a terrible misunderstanding and a huge oversight that can seriously derail your business and the profits you are trying to bring in. With some poorly designed websites visitors don’t know when, where or how to make a purchase. Worst of all is when someone doesn’t even understand that you even are selling anything.

Copy writing is the link between product or service and consumer or prospect. It brings the two of them together and lays everything out on the line. You can either hope that your soft-sell approach does enough to get the job done, or you can actively seek out sales through copy writing. It’s the difference between passively watching prospects walk out the door and convincing them by making them an offer they can’t refuse. As the owner of an online business you want to highlight all of your strengths and benefits. Copy writing enables you to do this, and the end result is that you’ll see more sale and more conversions.

Most individuals embody a short attention span and this creates the requirement that they need all things laid out directly in from of them. When I buy a product, what exactly is it that I would be receiving? Is there a reason that I should buy your product instead of some other company’s wares? What exactly are the benefits with working in association with your organization? If I take action immediately, what do I get in return? What is it that I will I be missing if I opt not to make this purchase? These are the common questions that people will seek answers to. This is what copy writing has the potential to deliver.

The bottom line here is that copy writing has the potential to make or break an online business. Without high quality copy writing, a website will not stand out from the crowd. But with proper copy writing, the ability to effectively and quickly convince and convert customers is likely and this will bring in a great deal more sales. A proprietor can either hope that a hands-off, soft-sell approach works or the proprietor can seize the reins and pull the sales in with copy writing. The right choice is obvious and Carbon Copy Pro can be a huge help for all your online marketing needs .

Seo Content Writers – Taking Your Website to New Heights

November 28th, 2009 by Isabel Rodrigues

So, you agree that Content is the king of modern world in the communications sector! Without relevant content, the accompanying piece is rendered a poor cousin. In today’s communications parlance, consider the reach of internet, for example; it is literally galloping. You need to go at such terrific speed in keeping with internet advance.

Ever since the launch of internet, the value of content writers started moving up. You may ask why and how. Insofar as why is concerned the simple answer is ‘because of its reach’. And, when you ask how it is because a lot of small business owners as well as big enterprises are converging with one idea clear in their mind, viz. that each one needs content to appear better for his or her visitor. They have ultimately emerged as one of the most prolific writers of modern times.

But one common aspect that you have to keep in your mind is that content writers are a set of gifted people, so to say. Apart from conducting their own research they ensure that overall it is tidy, compact and quite interesting to read. There are some writers who make their stuff ‘very interesting’. While you can say ‘it all comes with experience’ the crux of the secret is writers have a knack of their own.

What is their duty? Primarily they are responsible for getting a steady flow of new visitors, again and again to your website. If their writings ‘compel’ or ‘force’ them to have a look at your site that has been constructed with lot of care earlier, is a success story. A point you have to remember is that visitors don’t like dull and drab topics (that hardly attracts any traffic) but net-friendly ones. So, you have got to get interesting and attractive content that will make the difference in the ultimate analysis.

Having known about content writing we now discuss what SEO is or search engine optimization. Writers are born but are not made. As it is a time-consuming job it simply doesn’t happen with everybody comfortably writing dozens of articles. Moreover, competition is heavy. You have to have an edge to succeed in internet. You need to set yourself apart from others if you want to overtake others.

SEO forms a team of professionals that provides exclusive internet-based services. One can also safely assume that it is some kind of web promotion. The job of a seo is to churn out legible articles at a steady speed. However, writing for web is a different ball game altogether. This is so because you are serving different audience who are coming from different points on the globe who are usually pressed for time.

Do understand that competition is stiff on the internet. Moreover, different techniques and elements compare when you are writing for magazines and the traditional media. In the end, search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN (Bing) apart from Ask.com, and AOL search will ensure that you get a decent ranking and get closer to the top results on these search engines.

Helpful Online Dating Advice

November 28th, 2009 by Deborah Mathis

My online dating career has been an on and off one, depending upon where I’m at with my relationships. However, I’ve always found it to be a trusty source of dates that I return to whenever I’ve needed to. I’ve found more success over the years, thanks to some strategies that I never kept in mind to begin with.

You must pay attention to your profile and put some thought into it. I’m sure you’ve noticed that every member of the opposite gender generally has a profile that looks similar to the rest, and you’re refreshingly satisfied when you see one that looks different. There’s a good chance that you blend right in with the rest of the pack too.

Make your profile interesting and funny, or anyone looking at your profile will likely pass you by. If you include some witty humor and a call to action, you’ll be amazed at the difference that a few small tweaks will make.

Don’t be the typical person who says that they work hard and play hard, or that you like a night out but equally value a night spent inside with a good book or movie. Everyone says these things, and you’ll seem boring to those who read your profile.

Pay just as much attention to your picture selection too. Don’t simply include a portrait or two and a Halloween picture. It seems like everyone does this, and the more of a variety of pictures you’re able to present, the more interesting you’ll come across as.

You want to come across as someone who does many different things. In doing so, your potential dates will associate you with an exciting lifestyle that they want to be a part of.

Striking a chord with your readers is equally critical. If you were writing an article for a newspaper or a magazine, you’d want to do the same thing. Why should this be any different? Relate to your readers and it’ll pay off.

You’d be surprised at how many people fail to consider such simple things. Speaking from experience, I can tell you that a little extra effort will go a very long way.

Niche Article Marketing The Path To Internet Wealth If Implemented The Right Way

November 28th, 2009 by Mike Salvador

A great way to build or start your internet business is using niche article marketing. If you do not have a website business yet, you will want to target a niche market. With all of the competition online these days, niche marketing makes financial sense.

Niche market refers to a smaller group of potential customers within a general market. Let us say your product is cell phones. Yes, of course you want the whole world to buy your cell phones. But the whole internet cell phone business is your competition. Better to market to a group within that market. Let us choose senior citizens for this example.

Seniors do not buy cell phones like teens buy cell phones. They will not spend hours text messaging. They probably will not be playing games on their phones. And they might not be using their mobile phones to surf the internet. Seniors in fact might not have a cell phone because they do not know how to use them.

You could market to the older generation, those who would need a cell phone but who do not know how to use them. You can write articles about how cell phones are easy to use. You can write about how some cell phones have large numbers on the keypad which makes them easier to use.

You can write articles on how to text message. You can write articles on the different plans that are available and how people on fixed incomes might qualify for discounts.

You can write an article on the advantages of having a cell phone. Many people have had their lives saved because they were able to call for help with their cell phone. Without a cell phone, an elderly person may have died without getting the emergency help.

A person in this niche market who reads your targeted article will visit your website for more information. You have provided your link in your article and it is easy for your reader to click and read more about you and your products. You will have the products for sale that meets the needs of your niche market.

If you do not have these items for sale on your website, all your work is for naught. So make sure your website products and offers match up with your niche market.

The niche market is a segment of a larger market. So naturally you will be reaching fewer potential customers than what is in the overall market. But because your products are more targeted you will build a more loyal client based.

As in the case above, seniors who need accessories for the cell phone they bought from you will come back to buy the accessories they need. Even if they could buy them cheaper somewhere else, they will buy from you because they have made a connection with you.

Niche article marketing is all about building and increasing your internet business. It is about reaching to a segment of the general market. You will be targeting a smaller group of potential buyers. But you will also not have as much competition doing so.

Playing With Words Is A Pass Time For Article Writers!

November 27th, 2009 by Isabel Rodrigues

If you adore Article writing and that you personally are adept in playing with words, then sky is the limit for your earnings!! It is not an exaggeration saying so, because article writing in itself is an art and as such not considered as a people’s profession. You don’t stand to make the grade in this highly competitive market where only hard-core writers get to be the winners, somehow.

Now let us look at the sources where your written articles are destined to reach. ‘Article submission’ assumes significance when ‘articles marketing’ department takes over. It determines the kind of replies. But, when it comes to article submission, you can submit articles to such directories which only accept articles related to your niche market. That minimizes your work to a great extent. You are most likely to get more targeted traffic since visitors will also be related to your type of market.

Once you finalize the source where you are going to market your article, then comes the issue of ‘how to market it’. Apart from independent exclusive article buyers the market includes some high fliers known as Public Relations Officer or simply PRO who normally functions on a higher platform because of his elevated status. Anyway, the real catch is that how best you are going to convince the buyers that your article is of high quality. You can however achieve some success in this regard by offering some incentives along with offering quality content.

Though the emergence of internet was something we all communications enthusiasts went gung ho about, the real solution to article-generation has been eluding internet marketers time and again. Because there isn’t much of the right stuff originating from the PR market, that internet marketers feel can take advantage of!!

A unique aspect about article writing. As has been said initially it’s not easy thinking of pursuing a career or be a kind of ‘effective’ freelancer unless you wear a ‘thinking cap’ that perfectly fits in. Once you are able to generate any kind of article that interests your reader or visitor to the internet, you are the king. Nobody could find a solution so far has been how to generate these interesting articles. The answer is unfortunately a ‘no-no’.

Formatting articles or other documents for submission can be a real pain in the neck. Fitting a manuscript into a certain length could be so frustrating at times. It stays as a hassle when you are into writing but the thought-flow is blocked or not moving along with time!

One more hassle is proofreading your articles. You still need to use grammar and spell checkers to make sure that your articles are flawless. These tools will help you identify the errors that you may sometimes overlook.

After all these speed breakers, last comes a pleasant job that you would love to do for as long as you live, perhaps! It must relieve you greatly from tension as you will keep counting the bulging notes which will find its way directly to your treasury count.

Work From Home And Make Money Online For Free

November 27th, 2009 by Jerri Money

Want to make money online for free? Ok, you will need a computer and an Internet connection, but that’s all!

You don’t need a website, don’t have to pay for hosting, or even buy any domain names if you don’t want to!

So how do you do this? You just join some of the web 2.0 sites out there and add your original, keyword optimized, articles, and get a share of the profits your good content produces. that’s right these sites will pay you a percentage of the “clicks” from people looking for the information you present. I’ts a real win-win situation, they benefit from your content and you benefit from a little (or a lot) of extra cash in your pocket.

Check out these three sites, who will “pay” you for your keyword optimized, original articles:

1. Hubpages.com is a very user friendly site that requires no coding skills at all, and allows a writer to just…write! No adult content is permitted and excessive self-promotion is also a no-no. Hubpages promotes high quality, original content. Hubbers can make money with their articles (hubs) with Google AdSense ads, Kontera contextual ads, Amazon products, eBay products, you can also generate income by driving traffic to other hubbers hubs, and by getting new members to sign-up and create profitable hubs of their own.

2. Squidoo.com is another web 2.0 site that can make you some online income. Join Squidoo and write lenses (what they call their articles)

3. InfoBarrel is my second favorite web 2.0 site to submit articles to. Just write good original articles that are optimized for your keywords and make money. It’s really that simple. They too will share their income from AdSense with you for your content.

In Conclusion

Well there you go, my three favorite web 2.0 sites to submit articles to. Not only can you make money from these sites they also give you a very quick and easy way to “test” the waters for any given keyword or phrase. What do I mean by that? Well if you find an article you’ve written ranks well and starts to make you some money it’s pretty simple to just write more articles, and become your own competition (take up two or three of those top spots in the serps (search engine results pages.)

5 Internet Writer’s Pitfalls You Can Easily Avoid

November 27th, 2009 by Harriet Morris

There are some excellent websites online, with interesting and informative content. Then there is the majority of sites with poorly written text that is hard to absorb. Make sure your blog or website belongs to the first group. Steer clear of these online writing pitfalls:

The number one error of judgement is thinking a computer screen is as easy to read from as a piece of paper. The truth is it’s really hard work for your visitor’s eyes. Long paragraphs that run on for 10 or more lines are so common. How many visitors click away from your site because of this?

After this comes an even more common mistake: not leaving enough space between paragraphs. This white space is essential to give the eyes a break and to aid scanning. Make it easy for visitors to skim read your blog post.

The third pitfall that affects a surprising number of writers is thinking that text on its own is enough. You need to be an outstanding wordsmith to manage this. Bloggers like Steve Pavlina are the exception rather than the rule. The rest of us need images, text boxes and other media to keep the visitor’s attention.

Number four is color overkill. Teenagers are dreadful culprits here, as any teacher or parent who has been treated to an adolescent PowerPoint presentation. You need sunglasses to cope with the violet clashes of red and turquoise assaulting your eyes!

Even if your subject is psychedelic painting, you still need a calm, muted background for your text, and a plain black or blue font. Highlight 2 or 3 words maximum in red for emphasis, but only once or twice per webpage.

Lastly, failing to research other sites is a big no-no for any online writer. There are a lot of quality sites out there. When you find one with good writing that is easy to absorb, ask yourself what techniques you can use in your own writing.

Article Writing Techniques Should Not be Forced

November 27th, 2009 by Nigel Evans

Microsoft’s Bill Gates once wrote that “content is king,” and he has been quoted relentlessly ever since. It is certainly true that articles represent the bedrock of the Internet, as people turn in increasing numbers to the Web for answers to their questions.

Consider your article writing techniques — there are a variety. Fundamentally, the finished work must be “readable,” which means that it must make sense, not be composed just to incorporate a set number of key words, must be enjoyable to read and educational or entertaining.

Different article writing techniques include a “how-to” approach, the popular “top 10″ style, a no-nonsense bulleted list or the conventional article. The webpage itself largely dictates whether an article should be formal or informal.

We are learning that the search engines value appropriate content. They use a process similar to latent semantic indexing to gauge whether the body of the article actually relates to the keywords found in its title. In other words, secondary keywords should appear throughout the article, which the search engine compares against its comprehensive database for relevancy.

Typically, an article will be between five and eight paragraphs long and be of 500 words duration. This is not set in stone, but is typical for articles found throughout the web. The opening paragraph of an article should summarize the total content and the following 3 to 5 paragraphs should each refer to a particular point, expanding as you proceed. The closing paragraph sums everything up.

While different authors will have very different article writing techniques, all should follow the best practices expected. Never slant an article from a sales approach, as this is typically frowned upon. Although a majority of websites have a commercial purpose and the content therein could be judged as well, there is a time and a place for such a pitch and good writers will know that content quality is foremost.

When looking at structure from an SEO perspective, remember that secondary, LSI — type keywords must back up your prime words. Content experts will not need to worry about this element, as they will naturally form an article containing such content.

We are told that the major search engines are placing more and more emphasis on quality content and penalizing those webmasters who try and optimize first and provide quality second. As this scenario unfolds there will be a lot of focus on article writing techniques, as well as demand for the provision of great content.

Follow the link to find out more about article writing techniques, and how you should actively consider the approach for your online marketing initiatives.
