Article Marketing – How to Know Which Article Submission Service to Use

September 30th, 2009 by Donna Bessken
by Donna Bessken

If you are a writer online, you will be using article submission services. Investigate which ones are the best ones to use for your purposes. At least this is true from an economical standpoint. It also seems true from the perspective of efficiency. Why put a lot of time and effort into an article that will get lousy distribution or supremely slow dispersal? Check out which ones are the best. This is an annotated list of popular and well recognized article submission services. There is no special order to the list but it includes these services: ISnare, My Article Network, Submit Your Article, Spin Distribute, Unique Article Wizard, Send Articles.com, My Way Links, Fast Submit Articles.com, 1waylinks.com, SEO Content Writers, and ArticleSubmissionServices.com.

At FAST SUBMIT ARTICLES they write and submit one article to 352 directories for you for $30.00! That is not bad but it is expensive unless you wrote the article yourself and let them distribute it for $6.00. EzineArticles and several other highly regarded directories are included. No free submissions allowed. ARTICLE SUBMISSION SERVICES.com has a sales page with typos and grammar mistakes. Not for me. Their cost is no deal. I can get better results for less. Cost – $20 to write one article and submit to 100 directories is not efficient.

ISNARE sends one copy of your 500 word article out to hundreds of webmasters. They are careful about preventing cross-posting the same article to multiple directories. The difference between paid Platinum membership level ($59.95/month) and the free service is substantial. There are many additional perks for paid members. ISnare will give free members some traffic and a decent amount of backlinks. On another company, if you want a team of dedicated witers working on your project, take a look at SEO CONTENT WRITERS. Their site is professional in appearance and expensive. That and their site statistics suggest they are delivering good service. No free submissions are available.

SUBMIT YOUR ARTICLE is better than ISnare. It submits to EzineArticles and other high quality directories. It applies an advanced Article Leverage technology to enhance your listings. Cost. $37.00/month. SPIN DISTRIBUTE is another network of sites service where you get links from other sites in the network AND from other sources, like directories. They also offer to write, spin, submit, and syndicate 10 articles/month for $89.00/month, and you would be hard pressed to beat that kind of value. There are smaller packages but no free ones.

MY WAY LINKS is like a closed-door membership site/service whereby you’ll only get links from quality sites. The network is small compared to what My Article Network and Unique Article Wizard have for network size. Cost: $7 first month. $47.00/month. UNIQUE ARTICLE WIZARD stands head and shoulders above these others with its blog, html sites, and article directories network. From your UAW articles you WILL get hundreds or thousands of backlinks here, plus referral traffic. It will cost you $67/month and believe me it is well worth the pennies you spend here.

Article Marketing Automation, also known as MY ARTICLE NETWORK is a blog network that is roughly 10k-20k sites in size. This kind of distribution of original articles is great for backlinks and referral traffic. The current cost is $47/month. No free membership levels are available beyond a short trial. SEND ARTICLES.COM has a really brief sales page. SendArticles.com sends your articles to only 100 article directories. Don’t forget a link from an article directory is only ONE type of backlink, and you want to have a variance of backlink styles for a well-rounded link building campaign. Cost for 1 article/month is $30. There is no free level of participation.

1 WAY LINKS started out strong and initially helped my sites with their network of blogs, about 1500 of them. But as they progressed, too many of the sites were poor quality and the value of the links diminished. Even though it costs only $47/month, I do not recommend it at this time.

Since I wrote this review, I have realized it is a lot less expensive and much more effective to apply your own leverage and your personal techniques to article marketing and submission. If you connect with networks that already exist and already are waiting for your articles it costs less than many of these other services. In my experience, what works best is to use either MY ARTICLE NETWORK ($47/month) if you are just starting a site, or UNIQUE ARTICLE WIZARD ($67/month) for solid power and reliability. Write your own articles or get some written where they have writers who specialize in preparing original content articles in UAW format. Use your time, money and talent wisely and fine tune your own system.

Book Review: Enchanted Afternoon

September 30th, 2009 by Adrienne Monson
by Adrienne Monson

This book review is for Enchanted Afternoon, by Susan Wiggs. It is a historical romance set in Saratoga Springs in the eighteen hundreds. The story starts out with a very solid beginning. Just after reading the first sentence, I was pulled into the world the author had created.

I immediately was drawn to the main character, Helena, who was in mourning over her father’s death, dealing with an abusive husband – who is also a Senator – and was reintroduced to her true love from almost a decade ago. The said true love also happened to be the real father to her son. All of these dynamics were introduced in the first two chapters. It was enough to keep me enthusiastically reading for more.

As the novel progresses, the level of intensity continues to roller coaster in up and down motions, which is as a novel should be – no matter the genre. I enjoyed reading about a woman from that time period trying to become independent and raising her son on her own. I also liked the side characters, who were mostly other battered women dealing with the blows that life had dealt them. It gives the reader the ability to ponder on what women in general had to deal with in those times, especially since women’s rights were minimal at that time.

I liked the overall story, even the side plots that I usually to refer to as “fillers”. Fillers are used when the main story is not quite enough to keep a reader enticed or to help lengthen the book. My main dilemma in loving the book was with the slowly rekindling romance between Helena and Michael, her lover from nine years ago. I understand that Helena would be extremely cautious to jump into another relationship after leaving her abusive husband.

I even understand that trusting a man who broke your heart once already is to take a rather large risk. However, the way the story and characters were written, I felt that Michael had redeemed himself rather quickly and Helena was being too stubborn to see it.

There were also the “convenient dilemmas” that occur in almost any romance novel. You romance readers know what I am talking about: just when the hero/heroine is about to forgive their true love for whatever had been keeping them apart, some little “convenient dilemma” pops up that makes them distrust their lover once again.

This draws out the story a bit longer and keeps the readers held in exasperation and anticipation. For me, sometimes this method can work, but generally I feel that the happenstances are just a little too convenient. With Enchanted Afternoon, I would have to go with the latter opinion. It just did not quite work. I thought the couple could have reconciled a little sooner in the story and still kept the same climax in the end without it becoming too cheesy. So the big question is, will I add this book to my library? While it was an enjoyable read, I doubt I will read it again. Therefore, no. I will not be keeping this novel.

Ideas For Writing Many Articles

September 30th, 2009 by David Lim
by David Lim

The technique of article marketing involves writing a lot of articles. We are talking about not a dozen or two, but the number usually recommended would number in the hundreds. I am sure that you are as hardworking and creative as the next guy, but I am sure you are wondering how to write a few hundred different articles on the same topic. Well, you are in luck because that’s what this article is about. Read on….

Write On Related Topics

Use your imagination. If you are selling clocks, you don’t just have to talk about clocks. Talk about things that people interested in clocks would be interested in, or you can talk about the history of clocks, or what life would be like without clocks. There is really a thousand and one things that you can write articles on, just give free rein to your imagination.

Make A List

Lists are a great way to start writing articles. The first step is to make a list of a particular aspect of your product. For examples, you can make a list of all the advantages of your product. Make the list as long as you can. When you are done, split your list into smaller article sized lists, and write an article for each of the smaller lists. Once you have gone through your whole list, make another list of another aspect of your product.

Different Viewpoints

Don’t forget that you can write multiple articles with the same theme that targets different audiences. For example, if you are selling mobile phones and you are writing for a young audience, you might want to concentrate on the chat and networking features of your phone. If you are writing to businessmen, you might want to talk about your phone’s business conferencing features.

If You Have No More Ideas For Articles…

If you run out of article ideas, simply search the web for your relevant topic. Read through a couple of articles and websites and I’m sure you will get enough new ideas to keep you busy for a while. Just remember not to copy and come up with completely original material.

Conclusion

Writing many articles on the same topic is really not as challenging as it would appear at first glance. There are always many angles to any topic and you can write one article for each angle. You have the option of expanding on each individual point made in an article and you can explore related topics in the same way. In fact, when you think about it, you probably won’t have time to write all the potential articles.

A Look At The Unique Article Wizard Program

September 29th, 2009 by Harry Atkins
by Laura Parker

If you want your online business to grow, you need to increase your traffic. What is traffic and how do you get one? Traffic is when you get a huge number of people to go to your website. How do you accomplish such task? There are a number of ways for you to do so. You can pay for traffic and you can also get it free.

This task can take you some time because youll have to submit all the articles you have to a number of blogs, directories and submission sites. You cant afford to devote your entire day just by doing so. Even if you hire somebody to do this for you, it would be impractical to pay someone just to do one single thing the entire day.

If you are in this kind of dilemma, you need an article submission tool. An article submission tool will be able to do all of those tasks in your behalf and in a lesser amount of time no less.

A significant article submission tool that has a number of subscribers already is Unique Article Wizard.

You dont have to go through complicated steps to be able to use Unique Article Wizard. All that you really need to do is to select the categories related to your article and it will do the job of submitting your articles to the websites that fit the subjects that you have chosen.

The question now is: how will article submissions make your article rank 1 in google. Whenever you submit an article to an article directory perhaps, you will be able to include a link that will lead your readers to your website. Instead of doing all that, Unique Article Wizard will do it for you.

Imagine if your article gets published in 1000 blogs. That means that all the people who read those blogs may also visit your site.

Im sure that the thought of submitting your articles to 1000 blogs manually is just excruciating. Good thing you dont have to do it. You can do other things to improve your business and let Unique Article Wizard take care of the rest.

UK Classified Advertising

September 29th, 2009 by Martin Davis
by Martin Davis

Classified advertising has always been very popular, even more so now many publications have turned to online classifieds. Millions of people of day turn to their local classifieds so sell or search for something local. As the internet has become so popular so has online classifieds, main reason it is normally free to advertise online.

Traditionally newspaper classifieds usually charge a high fee for Pay per Line style classifieds, but now online classified sites are widely available, newspapers are losing out to free classified sites.

UK classifieds come in many forms such as local classifieds and classified ads that can gain even wider exposure for what you have to offer the public. This type of advertising has evolved into something much greater than what it was before the internet existed because people are able to advertise free to a local or a worldwide audience. It is up to you whether you want to post free local classified ads on smaller websites or free UK classified ads that will reach a much wider audience.

It is all about selling locally, many people prefer to advertise what they are selling locally reason being the travelling and postage. Think about if you were selling a pet, you would not want to post or drive long distance. Same when buying, if the item is too far away then it just might not be worth the effort if it is collection only.

If you are planning on selling your property on a free classifieds site the best thing to do is not keep it local, the reason to advertise the property outside your current location is so you can hit buyers that are looking to move into your area. There are many property sites online that can help you out with this. Make a search for Sell my Property

It is fair to say that free classified ads receive so much attention. There are more online ads than newspaper ads and there are also more people looking at online ads than the ads they must pay for in certain newspapers.

As the internet becomes more and more popular, the growth of online classified advertising will increase. Newspapers and magazines will really start to suffer soon as the internet starts to dominate. If publications what to start becoming the main players in classified advertising again, they will have to start making an online presence or start to make acquisitions.

Trouble Cranking Out Blog Posts? 5 Ideas To Get You Started

September 28th, 2009 by Jeff Berman
by Jeff Berman

Writing a legal blog can take a lot of work. It is important that you are consistently posting new material to your blog. Coming up with ideas for that material can be tough. Here are 5 ideas to get the juices flowing:

1. Make a List – People surfing the web love a good list. They are short and easy to digest.

2. Tell Your Readers About Good Links – It isn’t always that easy to find great links and resources on the web. Your readers will appreciate you telling them about links and resources you find interesting and helpful.

3. Tell a Good Story – Nothing will engage your readers more than an interesting story. Tell about a personal experience you had or something you are struggling with at your practice. Your readers will identify with you and it will certainly help get the conversation flowing.

4. Share Your Legal Knowledge – People have questions they want answers to. You obviously want to be cautious not to give legal advice, but sharing your knowledge and expertise can be a great way to establish yourself as a thought leader in your niche area of the law.

5. Read Legal Posts & Blogs – Staying up to date on other legal topics, blogs, posts, etc. is a great way to get ideas for your own blog. You can keep your finger on the pulse of the legal community and offer up articles that are of interest.

Writing a blog can be a lot of effort and work. However doing so will pay big dividends to your lawyer marketing efforts. If you take the time to write 2-3 good blog posts a week, you will see the pay off in the end. You have a better chance of getting found by the search engines and establishing yourself as a thought leader.
